Cookie Policy
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how qretro.com ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the Service remember your actions and preferences — for example that you are signed in, or which theme you prefer.
2. How we use them
Strictly necessary cookies are set because the Service cannot work without them: without them we cannot keep you in a session if you refresh the page mid-retrospective, and we cannot protect the form you submit.
Google Analytics is loaded on every visit, so that we can see how many people reach the Service and which pages they use. It measures traffic only: we do not use it for advertising, we do not share its data with Google for advertising or personalisation, and it is never linked to the content of your retrospectives. It is the only analytics provider we use. If you do not want it, you can block it in your browser or with the opt-out add-on described in section 4.
3. Cookies We Use
| Category | Name | Duration | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | qretro_session | 1 day | Identifies your session on the server. |
| Strictly Necessary | XSRF-TOKEN | 1 day | Security token preventing Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. |
| Functional | i18n_redirected | 1 year | Set by the localisation module. The interface is English only. |
| Functional | onboarding_completed | 1 year | Prevents the onboarding walkthrough from repeating. |
| Functional | nuxt-color-mode | Session | Stores your Dark or Light mode preference. |
| Analytical | _ga | 2 years | Google Analytics. Anonymous identifier for usage statistics. |
| Analytical | _ga_ETN84WT91M | 2 years | Google Analytics. Keeps track of the current visit. |
Analytics is provided by Google Analytics, which means the data it collects is processed by that provider — see the sub-processor list and transfer information in the Privacy Policy. If we add another analytics provider, it will be listed here.
We do not record your screen or your mouse movements.
4. Other ways to control cookies
You can delete cookies already stored and configure your browser to block them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Service, such as joining a session as a guest.
You can also opt out across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
