What we did

We added Action Items so that agreements from retrospectives are not lost after the meeting. Now the team can record exactly what needs to be done, who is responsible for it, and what needs to be revisited later.

What's new

  • Added an action items list directly within the retrospective environment.
  • Added the ability to assign owners.
  • Linked board discussions with the team's subsequent actions.

Why it matters

A good discussion is useless if it isn't followed by a next step. This is exactly where many retrospectives fall apart: there are ideas, but no movement after the meeting.

Action Items bridge this gap. The team doesn't just discuss problems, but immediately turns conclusions into work that someone is responsible for and that can be revisited in the next cycle.
