If you are looking for FunRetro, the product was renamed to EasyRetro. Both funretro.io and the old board URLs now return a permanent redirect to easyretro.io, and existing accounts moved across with the rename. Nothing was shut down — only the name and the domain changed.

If your team ran retrospectives on FunRetro and hit the free limit after two boards, that limit is the main thing QRetro removes.

Where EasyRetro is the better choice
It has a much larger template library — over two hundred formats against QRetro's fifty-two — and a longer track record, with more than a million retrospectives run on the platform. If your team wants an unusual format available out of the box, or if you need SAML SSO and an audit log, those are on EasyRetro's higher tiers and QRetro does not offer them.
Where QRetro is the better choice
No board quota. Two public boards a month is roughly one retrospective per fortnight for a single team. QRetro does not count boards, so a team running weekly retrospectives, a separate quarterly session and an ad-hoc incident review does not have to plan around a limit.
Teams without paying. On EasyRetro, teams begin on the Team plan. On QRetro a team workspace, shared boards and action items carried between sessions are part of the free product.
Planning poker in the same tool. Estimation sessions run on the same boards and the same accounts, with Jira and Linear import, rather than needing a second product.
Access from your assistant. QRetro exposes retrospective data over the Model Context Protocol, so Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code can query boards, health trends and open action items directly. See the MCP integration guide.
Moving from FunRetro or EasyRetro
There is no import tool. In practice teams do not migrate old boards — a retrospective board loses most of its value once its actions are closed. What is worth carrying over is the list of open action items, which takes a few minutes to retype.

- Add your open action items so nothing is lost in the switch.
- Share the board link. Participants join in the browser without creating an account.
